MY STORY

Nature as Teacher, Resilience as Practice.

Nature has been my teacher — my space of reflection, resilience, and becoming.

I wasn’t always the person I am today — grounded, intentional, and purpose-driven. As a child, I often struggled with sensitivity and a quick temper, searching for belonging and meaning. Yet through every season of life, nature remained constant — offering moments of calm, clarity, and renewal.

When life felt overwhelming, I would look to the trees, the birds, the rhythm of storms — and feel the steadiness of the natural world reminding me to return to presence. In those early years, I found myself instinctively drawn to wander — seeking out the woods, the rivers, the quiet spaces where my spirit could rest and reset.

Later, a pivotal moment came when a monk named “Picasso” helped me see: nature itself is a mirror — teaching us that fullness and sufficiency are found when we slow down and truly see.

Over the past 20+ years, through countless miles of hiking and immersion in the Hudson Valley’s landscapes, I’ve come to understand that nature does more than restore — it builds resilience, cultivates presence, and guides us toward becoming the truest version of ourselves.

Hiking for me is not a hobby — it is a way of being: a reflective, intentional practice that deepens awareness, fosters resilience, and invites transformation.

Today, as the founder of As One Flight and a certified NYS Hiking Guide, my mission is clear: to guide others through nature-based journeys that restore presence, build resilience, and empower personal evolution.

Through guided hiking, mindful reflection, breathwork, forest bathing, and journaling practices, I help individuals and teams slow down, reconnect with what matters, and rise renewed — both in life and in leadership.

Join me on this journey. Together, through nature’s wisdom, as we walk the path of Presence. Resilience. Becoming.
